Custom Fabrication
NOTT COMPANY is a comprehensive manufacturer and
distributor of
elastomeric rubber and silicone materials; sponge and cellular foam
materials; and high performance tape to the OEM and MRO marketplace.
To better serve our customers we have three manufacturing locations
within the Midwest, including our headquarters in Arden Hills, MN and
other facilities in Des Moines, IA and northern MN. Our capabilities
include the following:
-Molding
-Extruding
-Vulcanizing
- Seams 8" wide x 192" long (one pass)
- Material thickness to 2"
Multiple pass seams in our vulcanizing operations
can be endless in length.
No one in the Midwest can match the scope of our vulcanizing operations
in terms of size, material options, material thickness, seam sizes, and
experience.
Die-Cutting:

- Rapid feed presses
- High ton presses (10 sf beds)
Die-cutting presses are operating in all three of
our Midwest manufacturing
facilities. Our presses include rapid feed units and high ton systems with
yieldable beds measuring over 10 sf in size.
Special Laminations:
- Hand primers
- Trowel applications
Transfer coating, hand priming on troublesome
materials, trowel
applications, area grinding for material preparation, - we do all of the
difficult bonding and assembling of materials and adhesives that other
"cookie-cutter" fabrication shops won't touch. If two or more items need
to
be bonded together, we will find a way to do it!

PSA:
- Acrylic, rubber, & silicone
- Carriers available
Several acrylic, rubber, and silicone transfer
adhesives (with and without
carriers) are carried in stock in varying thickness and performance
characteristics for immediate application.
Tape (log) Slitting:

- Roll widths available .080" thick
- Zero telescoping; no adhesive edge smear
We have several tape slitters in our air
conditioned tape manufacturing area
to custom slit high performance tapes for the electronics and medical
industries, and related quality oriented applications. Our tape slitting
machines can cut roll widths as narrow as .080" (.188" for foam tapes), and
maintain standard tolerances within +/- 0.005", with no telescoping, and no
adhesive edge smear!
