TEFLON FILM and COATINGS
Teflon coated fiberglass is
dimensionally stable and ideal for
use in various high temperature applications and material handling belts.
Teflon tape, films, and coated fiberglass are frequently used for
electrical coil
wraps, heater cable wraps, and as a re-usable liner for various heat sealing
and thermal printing operations.
EXPANDED TEFLON
Expanded Teflon (PTFE) is unmatched in
performance and scope for
providing a seal or gasket throughout many diverse industries. Physical
parameters include:
Temperature: -450 to 600F
Pressure: Full Vacuum to 3000 PSI
Inert in pH Range of: 0 to 14
PTFE is known to have very limited creep and cold
flow when compared to
virtually any other alternative material, and because PTFE is pure expanded
Teflon, there is no wasted time spent cleaning sticky residual or "tar" from
a joint seal when it is opened.
