Gaskets

A gasket is a mechanical seal that fills the gap between two objects, preventing leakage while the objects are under use. A certain amount of ‘give’ is beneficial to allow the gasket to conform to the irregularities of the surface it comes in contact with.

Some common applications for gaskets include electrical enclosure gaskets, weatherstripping, EMI/RFI shielding, leak protection, and dust skirts.
