Responsibilities:

• Open, operate, and close the store
• Provide excellent customer service to retail customers including part identification, cross-referencing, order entry, assisting will-call customers with paperwork, part pulling and packaging if necessary
• Provide application assistance and product advice to customers
• Enter orders, invoice, and process customer payments in system by purchase order, credit card or cash
• Fabricate hose assemblies to fulfill customer requirements
• Clean, maintain and stock the store ensuring Parker and Nott products look their best for customers
• Maintain the showroom appearance, support new display integration and related marketing programs
• Assist Customer Service department and custom orders as needed

Education: High school diploma or GED required; 2-year technical or fluid power degree highly desired, but not required

Experience: Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in a combination of B2C and B2B customer service for technical products such as fluid power or automotive, including order entry, understanding/reading technical specifications, product configuration, warehousing, or inventory.
