Die Cutting
One of our advantages for our customers is that we have many different presses, including very large CNC and manual flatbed presses, smaller CNC and manual flatbed presses, rotary presses and several other special cutting machines that enable us to manufacture your parts in the most efficient manner possible.
Waterjet Cutting
Our waterjet machines are CNC based and enable us to cut very intricate parts out of virtually any material with tight tolerances that will have no deflection concavity on the walls of the part. Our waterjet machines are CNC based and enable us to cut very intricate parts out of virtually any material with tight tolerances that will have no deflection concavity on the walls of the part.
Waterjets require few secondary operations, produce net-shaped parts with no heat-affected zone, heat distortion, or mechanical stresses caused by other cutting methods. They can also provide better usage of raw material, since parts can be tightly nested. Our waterjets include very large bed and small bed machines with multiple heads that enable us to manufacture your parts in the most efficient manner possible.
Knife Cutting
Our knife cutter is CNC based and enables us to cut parts out of a wide variety of materials. Using all or part of the cutter’s vacuum bed, we manufacture parts in the most efficient manner possible. The knife cutter compliments the waterjet’s functionality, allowing us a level of redundancy to complement the added benefit of cutting materials not compatible with the water jet.
Slitting
Our capabilities including rewind slitting, in-line slitting, baloney slitting, and precision tape slitting. These abilities, combined with our laminating and die-cutting capabilities, allow us to help you design and create cost-effective and innovative parts for any application you may have.
laminating
We have over 50 years of experience bonding and laminating adhesives and substrates to create thousands of different composites. Our capabilities include PSA laminating, film laminating, HATS laminating and composite laminating. Our proprietary processes allow us to laminate adhesives to silicones so effectively that many of our competitors outsource that service to us.
skiving
With our skiving and vertical sawing capabilities, we are vertically integrated so that we can take any raw material form and have it quickly ready for our customers’ quick-to-market needs. Skiving and vertical sawing machines are excellent for bulk converting and bun splitting a variety of light-density materials for many industries, including packaging, medical, recreational and transportation.
Vulcanizing & bonding
Our capabilities, including hot vulcanizing on three different large platen presses, including a 16’ press, extrusion vulcanizing, cold bonding and splicing. We are very experienced in hard-to-vulcanize silicone compounds and in making very large membranes/vacuum blankets, with some reaching sizes over 12’ by 26’.
assembly
Our assembly department can supply a finished manufactured part, including three-dimensional parts and/or parts that consist of one, two, or more materials or components.
Some of our assembly processes include:
- Adhesive assembly using RTV silicone, cold vulcanizing, or hot melt
- Mechanical assembly
- Folding and post-forming operations
- Special packaging
contour cutting
We help our customers design unique custom parts that can be made on our multi-axis, CNC contour cutting machines.
Our Contour machines are CNC based and enable us to cut small to very large parts out of light-density materials with the ability to cut multi-dimensional characteristics. Contour machines are excellent for making custom cushioning parts for a variety of industries, including packaging, recreation and transportation. With CNC controls and nesting software, we can provide better usage of raw material, since parts can be tightly nested.
