Customer Service Representative III

Bettendorf, IA

We are looking for a mechanically inclined Customer Service Representative to join our Bettendorf, IA team. In this position you will play a vital role in the growth of our employee-owned company by providing B2B support to the sales team and customers.


  • Manage relationships at a high level including profitability/margin management and product/order support
  • Handle high priority and escalated requests
  • Provide high level technical and product support as well as information on complex, non-stock, and special project requests
  • Provide timely and efficient assistance to resolve issues
  • Identify and recommend process improvements
  • Understand, analyze, and manage customer’s forecast
  • Proactively work with the customer in order to stay abreast of price trends and changes for all products
  • Manage KPI’s and customer scorecards to assist management with efficiency, scheduling, forecasting, and business decision-making
  • Assist Key Account Manager & engineering with quotation process
  • Monitor past due order backlogs; expedite and/or reschedule as necessary while proactively communicating to customer
  • Manage EDI validation in the system for accuracy and make changes as required
  • Collaborate with all departments to achieve on-time delivery and customer satisfaction

Education: Bachelor’s or technical degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum 5 years customer service or technical support experience in an industrial or manufacturing company.


  • Professional and polished written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to effectively communicate at a high level
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, specifically with Microsoft Excel

Work Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm (full time, in person – overtime may be required to support business needs)
